Tuktu has learned nearly all she needs to know from her mother. For the next two months or so, she remains near her, but without ever making direct contact. Then, Tuktu feels the call of the herd and moves off on the migratory path.

During the first 12 months of her life, Tuktu has travelled an amazing 6,000 km (3,728 miles).
